If anyone hasn’t seen the documentary (part of a Derren Brown series) about the story of the lucky dog in Todmorden then do so. It’s on Channel 4 catch up at the moment (search for Derren Brown, The Experiments). Our very own John Billingsley, who regularly ventures over to Halifax to fill our days with strange facts, moan about biscuits and do some work(!), filled me on the story.  He has written quite a substantial piece about the dog and the story behind Mr Brown’s involvement in the latest issue of The Fortean Times (I promise not to advertise anything else). The dog already has a large media presence but still looks very grounded!
