about us

Our main base is on the lower ground floor of the Central Library in Halifax (situated just off the Piece Hall). This floor is also home to part of the West Yorkshire Archive Service. You can also visit some of our branch libraries and explore their collections.
If you are thinking of finding more about the local area, or want to delve into your family history then please come and visit any of the above libraries.
You will find a treasure trove of resources designed to keep you there for hours!
